CREME FRAICHE CHICKEN WITH SAGE
Chicken is the most searched recipe on the internet and I can understand why. There are so many ways you can cook it and combine it with so many flavours. It is probably the only meat I couldn't live without. YUM! So when I come up with a chicken one pot dinner, then it usually stays on my 'weeknight dinner' list. So this is one of those one pot baked dinner that is so full of flavour! In this recipe, all the quality ingredients blend beautifully together, especially the whole grain mustard and honey. Enjoy.
12 chicken drumsticks cleaned
3 large potatoes cut into pieces
2 large carrots diced
3 garlic cloves crushed
250g snake or green beans
2 tbs creme fraiche
1 tbs whole grain mustard
1/2 cup white wine
6 sage leaves
2 tbs honey
Sea salt, pepper
1. Combine all ingredients (excluding the honey) and marinade chicken for 15 minutes.
2. Place chicken and vegetables in baking tray and then drizzle honey over all ingredients.
3. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Serve immediately.
